Now, a well designed, touch screen computer that integrates with a refrigerator that doesn’t add more that $500 to the total price would be something practical. If an iPhone can be sold profitably for $499 then a trouchscreen fridge computer should be doable for roughly the same price. It would be great to leave notes, have a calendar, show photos, internet access and other “home management” tasks.
Fun parody indeed. I particularly liked the remark that such a table is yet another buffer between human beings. After sitting a whole day behind a screen and communicating by means of mail and other systems it could be embarassing to have a real discussion in a pub…so let’s put some TCP/IP there as well in between
